If, like me, you find yourself with good eyesight printing out long PDF documents (cough, legal documents) on OS X but care so much about the environment that it hurts you to waste more paper than necessary (who am I kidding, the only person who fits that description is me) then you might be interested in this trick:
When you print you can pull down the pop-up menu that’s usually set to “Copies & Pages” (whose idea was it to use a pop-up menu as a navigation aid) and select layout, letting you print PDFs 2-up, 4-up, etc. My eyesight seems just good enough to read them 4-up.
Now if only I knew how to get rid of the double-spacing…
