- The MPAA claims that they wouldn’t be able to make new movies without the revenue from sales (on DVD and videocassette) of the old ones. I find this one pretty funny. First, they fought their hardest against videocassette. But more importantly, what 95-year-old movie provides enough income to fund one of Hollywood’s multi-million dollar extravaganza?
- Sen. Orrin Hatch says Congress made the right decision, stop second-guessing!
- AOL Time Warner (represented by Ken Starr) says that we shouldn’t give people a “free ride” on their copyrighted music, movies and comic books.
